Details

The publication of the 2017 to 2018 financial year government grants data was the first time awards-level data for all 17 central government departments was published.

Awards data covers the value and recipient information for individual grants. Prior to this publication, only grant scheme level data had been published by government. A grant award is made to meet one of the objectives of the grant scheme. Grant awards can be made to organisations and individuals.

Caution should be taken when using this data. Please read the field descriptions and departmental notes contained in the government grants register file before using this data.

This 2017 to 2018 data was originally published in November 2018. It was republished with some minor formatting changes in March 2021. These changes mean that it now meets the 360Giving standard.
