Details

Up until 2017 only ‘scheme level’ data was published. In autumn 2017, grants data at ‘award level’ for two departments (Ministry of Justice and Department for Transport) was published on GOV.UK for the first time. A grant award is made to meet one of the objectives of the grant scheme. Grant awards can be made to organisations and individuals. Caution should be taken when using this data. Please read the field descriptions and departmental notes contained in the above government grants register files before using this data. Since these publications the Cabinet Office has continued to work with departments to capture more complete data on grant awards.
