The Business Secretary and Aviation Minister have responded to recommendations made by the Regulatory Horizons Council (RHC) about the regulation of drones.

This was published under the 2019 to 2022 Johnson Conservative government

The Regulatory Horizons Council (RHC) published recommendations on how the UK can unlock the benefits of drones and support wider commercial deployment through regulation.

These letters contain the government’s response to the report. The letters are from:

  • Kwasi Kwarteng, Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy
  • Robert Courts, Minister for Aviation, Maritime, and Security at the Department for Transport
