Responses to a representative survey of 2,900 small businesses and property landlords were analysed and segmented into 5 groups according to respondents’ willingness and capability to engage with MTD.
This publication provides more detail about the segmentation, which is helping HMRC to understand how the small business and landlord population varies according to its potential engagement with MTD.
It is also helping us understand the factors, and any support needs linked to these, that will influence a smooth transition to MTD after it has become mandatory for these customers.
