This document has been published as part of the HS2 Phase One environmental statement for the route between London and the West Midlands. The environmental statement was produced to accompany the HS2 Phase One hybrid Bill.

It presents the likely significant environmental effects of the construction and operation of Phase One of HS2 that have been identified on a route-wide basis. That is, those effects that require consideration at a scale larger than is covered by the volume 2 community forum area (CFA) reports.
