This update reassesses the equality effects reported for the HS2 Phase One route in light of the changes proposed through Additional Provisions 1 to 5.

The Equality impact assessment submitted with the Hybrid Bill in 2013 presented the equality issues potentially arising from the construction and operation of Phase One of HS2.
A first update to the assessment was published in September 2015 to reassess the equality effects reported for the Euston area in light of the revised scheme for CFA1, as described in the Supplementary Environmental Statement 2 and Additional Provision 3 Environmental Statement (September 2015).
This second Equality impact assessment update reassesses equality effects reported for the rest of the HS2 Phase One route (CFAs 2 to 26) in light of the changes to the scheme proposed through Additional Provisions 1 to 5, as described in their associated Environmental and Supplementary Environmental Statements.
HS2 Ltd ran a consultation on the EqIA Update (December 2015) which closed on the 22 January 2016.
