This Independent Living Fund (ILF) circular provides guidance on how ILF support is provided under a mental health aftercare plan.

  1. Policy amended to enable the ILF to continue to fund someone with support needs that are additional to those identified in a section 117 aftercare plan, provided that the user continues to meet the relevant ILF eligibility criteria.
