Details

Part 7 of the act ensures there is no language barrier to members of the public accessing public services. It delivers on a manifesto commitment for public sector workers in public-facing roles to speak fluent English.

The Code of Practice helps public authorities meet their obligations under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
