The report provides information about publicly funded research and innovation organisations (PFRIOs) in the UK, using data gathered through the 2022 survey of PFRIOs.

The survey was conducted by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, now the Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology, in collaboration with UK Research and Innovation and the Government Office for Science.
