Details

This guidance, published by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) as Joint Service Publication 425 (JSP 425), sets out the minimum requirements for the examination and testing of radiation detection and monitoring equipment (RDME), and the minimum standards to be maintained by MOD radiation calibration facilities to ensure compliance with the employer’s legal responsibilities stated under regulation 19 of the Ionising Radiation Regulations 1999.
