The Infrastructure and Corporate Resilience Programme has published the guide - Keeping the country running: natural hazards and infrastructure.
The guide will support infrastructure owners and operators, emergency responders, industry groups, regulators, and government departments, to work together to improve the resilience of critical infrastructure and essential services.
The guide provides advice on:
- identifying and assessing risks from natural hazards;
- standards of resilience;
- business continuity and corporate governance;
- guidance for economic regulated sectors;
- information sharing; and
- understanding dependencies.
The Cabinet Office consulted government, regulators, industry, trade and professional associations, and emergency response practitioners during the production of this Guide. A summary of the consultation responses is also available to download.
