Appointing a Knowledge Asset (KA) Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) is a recommendation in the Rose Book and Managing Public Money.

This guidance:

  • will help public sector organisations appoint a Knowledge Asset Senior Responsible Owner and to support new and existing SROs to understand their responsibilities
  • outlines an SRO’s four responsibilities along with some recommended actions and examples of how these can be implemented to enable efficient and effective KA management within their organisation
