Details

The Regulator of Social Housing proposed to end the collection of non-self-contained units as clustered dwelling equivalents in the Local Authority Data Return collection and instead to count these units as bed spaces from 1 April 2022.

Users were asked to give views and feedback on the proposal between October 2021 and January 2022.

The outcome of the proposal consultation is now included on this page, along with the original document of supplementary information on the background and impact of the proposal, along with details around the complexity of the current methodology.
