Details

The detention services order (04/2018) provides instructions for staff on the period during which detainees are limited to a residential area or their individual rooms overnight, within detention centres.

This guidance should be used by all staff in:

  • Home Office immigration removal centres
  • Gatwick pre-departure accommodation
  • residential short-term holding facilities
