Details

This guide helps to explain the marine licensing process for Local Planning Authorities (LPAs). It will provide LPAs with a better understanding of:

  • pre-application;
  • application;
  • joint working;
  • other relevant matters, such as exemptions and self-service
  • useful contacts.

It is envisaged that this document will enable LPAs to apply for marine licences more efficiently, as well as empowering them to provide this information to their own applicants if the proposed works are in the UK marine area.
