Competent authorities must provide a health certificate to exporters of animals and animal products to Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
Competent authorities should use the updates below to make changes to health certificates for exporters to ensure they are in line with the current version of the model health certificates.
GBHC350 MP-PREP Meat preparations
Version 1.2
Published July 2024:
- Part I box I.21: option for Chilled products has been added.
- Attestation AH/P603: added a (b) option to the notes for completion.
- Attestation AW/001: renamed to AW/001A.
- Attestation PH/P109: Information on freezing temperature moved to notes for completion. Information on country of origin and chilled temperature moved to notes for completion. Added “Packages intended for supply to the final consumer containing minced meat from poultry or solipeds or meat preparations containing MSM must bear a notice indicating that such products should be cooked before consumption” to notes for completion.
- Attestation PH/I008: added.
- Attestation PH/MK001: renamed PH/MK001A
- Attestation PH/MB001A: is replaced by PH/MB001B
- Attestation PH/MS300: re-names PH/MS300A added ‘and from cutting plants’. Clarifications and wording changes to notes for completion.
- Part III Notes for completion Box I.7: added ‘this footnote does not apply to goods that are produced, manufactured, and packaged in multiple EU/EFTA countries’.
- Part III Notes for completion Box I.28: Added ‘For frozen meat preparations indicate the best before end date (mm/yyyy) for chilled meat preparations indicate use by date (dd/mm/yyyy)’ and removed ‘storage life (dd/mm/yyyy)’ and ‘presentation’.
- ‘Retained’ has been changed to ‘Assimilated’ throughout the certificate.

GBHC352 MP-PROD Meat products
Update on 20 August 2024:
From 2 December 2024, this certificate will not be accepted for poultry meat products from Thailand or China.
The last date that poultry meat products from Thailand or China will be accepted for entry into Great Britain using GBHC352 is 1 December 2024, regardless of when the certificate was signed.
From 2 December 2024, GBHC902 MPNT-TH must be used for the import of poultry meat products from Thailand and GBHC901 MPST-CN must be used for the import of poultry meat products from China.
