Amendment 1 replaces MGN 352 (M+F)

This notice should be read in conjunction with MGN 20 which provides details and guidance on interpretation of the merchant shipping and fishing vessel (health and safety at work) regulations 1997, MGN 587 (F) amendment 1 (in respect of fishing vessels) and the merchant shipping and fishing vessels (control of noise at work) regulations 1997. MGN 447 (M+F) merchant shipping and fishing vessel (control of noise at work) regulations 1997 procedure for seeking exemptions and also MGN 377 (M+F) sound advice – noise at work from music and entertainment.
