Notice to shipowners, ship operators, designers, builders and masters of domestic seagoing passenger ships and high speed craft.

MGN 572 gives guidance about The Merchant Shipping (Safety Rules and Standards for Passenger Ships) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2018. These regulations implement changes brought in by Directive (EU) 2016/844 (amending 2009/45/EC), in safety requirements for the construction and equipment for passenger ships that operate at sea but do not undertake international voyages.
