  • owners
  • masters
  • deck and engineer officers
  • ratings of merchant vessels
  • people involved with maritime training

The oral examination will in all cases be conducted by an examiner from the MCA.

This Note should be read together with MSN 1558, MSN 1692 (M) and MSN 1727(M) (or subsequent amendments).
