This guide is designed to inform consumers on how to compare the security aspects of mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablets and laptops.

It has been developed and written in conjunction with CESG, the UK government’s National Technical Authority for Information Assurance who have provided the technical expertise behind the advice.

This guide provides useful information so that consumers are able to make their own informed choice on which security features are important to them.

For questions on any of the security features mentioned in the Buyer’s Guide or how they work on Samsung devices, please refer to the manufacturer guidance above.

Guidance on security features on Apple devices is also available.
