Licence Modifications to the Smart Energy Code, Smart Meter Communication Licences and the Standard conditions of electricity and gas supply licences were laid in Parliament on 30 January 2014.
Following successful completion of the Parliamentary process, the changes relating to Communication Hubs financing provision in the SEC and DCC licence will come into effect on 31 March 2014.The supply licence conditions relating to the Energy Efficiency Directive come into force on 4 June 2014 and all other provisions come into force on 6 April 2014 (please refer to the Modifications document for details).
