Details

The monitor your school attendance data tool is available on the view your education data service. It provides useful information on your school’s attendance and absence.

You can use the tool to:

  • view secure attendance reports for the whole school, individual pupils or pupil characteristic groups
  • compare your school attendance within the local authority and see your school’s position for attendance and performance nationally
  • download attendance data

  1. Updated the user guide to clarify the pupil data in the attendance downloads and added a link to 'How to use the absence bandings report'. Updated the technical issues document with the latest active user issue - inaccurate attendance results - and how to fix it.

  7. Updated feature information and added new filters available within the tool. Data definitions have been updated with changes to attendance codes effective from 19 August 2024.
