Increased decision making has placed pressure on local authorities to provide advice and support to newly granted refugees leaving the asylum accommodation system.

In recognition of these pressures, £2.8 million of funding has been distributed to a limited number of local authorities most impacted by increased decision making for services that have been delivered during the second half of 2024 to 2025.
