The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has published an update paper in connection with its market study into music and music streaming. This paper sets out some of our initial findings from the study and our reasoning for proposing not to make a market investigation reference. We are consulting on this proposal and inviting comments by the close of 19 August 2022.
