These reports summarise the surveillance activity of COVID-19 nationally.

The summary report contains findings from systems within community, primary, secondary and mortality surveillance. It also includes an international update.

As of 8 October 2020, a combined influenza and COVID-19 surveillance report replaced this publication.

   Due to a misclassification of 2 subgroups within the Asian and Asian British and Black and Black British ethnic categories, the proportions of deaths for these ethnic categories in reports published between week 37 2020 and week 29 2021 were incorrect. These have been corrected from week 30 2021 report onwards.
