This publication provides information, guidance, resources and examples of shared learning to support carers of people who are eligible for:

  • antenatal and newborn screening
  • abdominal aortic aneurysm screening
  • breast screening
  • bowel cancer screening
  • cervical screening
  • diabetic eye screening

In this publication, a carer is considered to be anyone, including children and adults who look after a family member, partner or friend who needs help because of illness, frailty, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction and cannot cope without their support.
