Details

The key performance indicators (KPIs) are used to measure how the NHS screening programmes are performing, and aim to give a high-level overview of programme quality.

The files published each quarter are:

• the antenatal and newborn (ANNB) KPI data tables
• the young person and adult (YPA) KPI data tables
• an accompanying data report

Data for a few of the KPIs are collected later than the others, so you may also want to refer to the previous quarterly data report.

1. 11 January 2019

   Added annual screening data for KPIs for the 2017 to 2018 screening year (1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018).

2. 14 November 2018

   Two updated MS Excel Spreadsheet files added to replace previously published Q4 2017/18 data.

3. 15 August 2018

   Added Quarter 4 2017 to 2018 data and updates to previously published data from Quarters 1 to 3.

4. 12 June 2018

   Added new Q3 data, updates to Q2 data, corrections to Q1 data, and new KPI summary factsheet.

5. 19 April 2018

   title of Feb 2018 summary factsheet PDF updated in metadata

6. 14 February 2018

   Publication of KPI data and summary factsheet for quarter 2, 2017 to 2018.
