Details

The Industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC) considered ways to extend the prescription for occupational deafness. It does not recommend any changes to the list of prescribed diseases for which people can claim Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit.

The council welcomes further evidence and suggestions for alternative approaches that are feasible to implement and compatible with the science and the legislation.
