Details

These documents will assist organisations in responding to outbreaks of infectious disease in accommodation settings for asylum seekers, including:

  • short term holding sites
  • initial accommodation centres
  • contingency accommodation, including hotels and large sites

The overview of outbreak management document provides information on roles and responsibilities of partner organisations, spaces for key contacts to be recorded, examples of common scenarios, and a form for gathering data in the event of an outbreak.

The measles action card gives background information about measles and provides actions for settings staff to undertake, including when to contact their health protection team.
