Details

Cancelling your permit or part of your permit is known as ‘surrendering’ or ‘partially surrendering’ your permit.

Fill in this application form if you want to surrender a radioactive substances regulation (RSR) permit for radioactive waste at a nuclear site. Both licensees and tenants on nuclear sites should use this form.

Licensees should also check the guidance on the management of radioactive waste on decommissioning nuclear sites (known as the GRR): decommissioning of nuclear sites and release from regulation.

You must also fill in forms:

  • Part RSR-A, which is about you and your premises

  • Part RSR-F, to calculate your application charges and make declarations about your application
