Details

These undertakings were given under the monopoly provisions of the Fair Trading Act 1973. They require PRS For Music to abide by 44 recommendations made by the former Monopolies and Mergers Commission. These recommendations relate to its corporate governance and efficiency of collection and distribution of royalties. In addition, the undertakings allow PRS For Music members to self-administer their own live performing rights.
