Details

This Policy Framework is primarily for Governors and their staff. It details the minimum mandatory requirements which are needed to deliver education and library services in adult prisons in England.

It sets out both the legal duties and policy requirements placed upon Governors for the provision of education services in their prison.

It does not apply to the youth custody estate, Immigration Removal Centres or prisons in Wales (for which there will be a separate Policy Framework).
