Details

In autumn 2013, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) commissioned AGFE, in partnership with Experian, to:

  • research how much cash was being held and by whom
  • research whether there was any evidence of cash holdings being excessive i.e. ‘hoarding’
  • examine the relationship between firms’ cash holdings, their businesses’ finances and their capital stocks
