Details

Private vets must apply for permission from the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) before carrying out private interferon-gamma (IFN-y) testing in cattle in England.

1. Read the guidance on how to apply for permission, carry out TB testing and submit samples.
2. Submit the application form for approval to undertake private (IFN-y) testing (PRIV02).
3. If permission is granted, submit the form for the submission of blood samples for private IFN-y testing (PRIV01) with the samples.
