1. PCA arbitration information publication policy

This policy sets out the scheduled publication of arbitration information, effective from 1 April 2022.

2. PCA information covered by this policy

1.1 The PCA is committed to being transparent in its operations, where the law allows. Restrictions apply to certain information, including information protected by the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

The PCA will publish information relating to:

  • the number of accepted cases by pub-owning business and dispute type
  • the number of open cases by pub-owning business and dispute type
  • the number of closed cases by pub-owning business, outcome, and dispute type
  • the duration of disputes

1.2 This information is shared in accordance with the PCA’s Publication Scheme and specifically relates to ‘what our priorities are and how we are doing’.

3. 2. Frequency of information releases

2.1 The PCA will publish information detailed in section 1.1 of this policy on a quarterly basis. Information may be released more frequently, where the PCA considers the public interest requires it.
