This bulletin is part of a regular published series of statistical reports, containing analysis of key QDC/QSC information. Analysis of all contracts that became a QDC/QSC between 1 April 2015 and 30 June 2018 is included.
The SSRO was notified of 158 contracts that became QDCs/QSCs by 30 June 2018. Contractors have one month after the date the contract becomes a QDC to submit reports, and as of 31 July 2018 the SSRO had received contract reports for 153 contracts that became QDCs/QSCs between 1 April 2015 and 30 June 2018, which the analysis is based on. This comprised 127 QDCs and 26 QSCs.
In the first three months of 2018/19, the SSRO has received contract reports for five new QDCs/QSCs, with an estimated total contract price of £328 million. The estimated total contract price of all 153 QDCs/QSCs was £21.8 billion. The average reported estimated contract profit rate across all QDCs/QSCs was 10.06 per cent.
All data is based on the latest submitted report for each QDC/QSC, to reflect the most recently reported contract data, and may not reflect values at contract completion.
