This bulletin is part of a regular published series of statistical reports, containing analysis of key QDC/QSC information. Analysis of all contracts that became a QDC/QSC between 1 April 2015 and 30 September 2017 is included.

The SSRO was notified of 119 contracts that became QDCs/QSCs by 30 September 2017. Contractors have one month after the date the contract becomes a QDC to submit reports, and as of 31 October 2017 the SSRO had received contract reports for 113 contracts that became QDCs/QSCs between 1 April 2015 and 30 September 2017, which the analysis is based on. This comprised 95 QDCs and 18 QSCs.

In the first six months of 2017/18, the SSRO has received contract reports for 19 new QDCs/QSCs, with an estimated total contract price of £457 million. The estimated total contract price of all 113 QDCs/QSCs was £23.9 billion. The average reported estimated contract profit rate across all QDCs/QSCs was 10.53 per cent.

All data is based on the latest submitted report for each QDC/QSC, to reflect the most recently reported contract data, and may not reflect values at contract completion.

The publication schedule for the next four quarterly bulletins is as follows:
