This bulletin is part of a regular published series of statistical reports, containing analysis of key QDC/QSC information. Analysis of all contracts that became a QDC/QSC between 1 April 2015 and 30 September 2019 is included.
The SSRO was notified of 249 contracts that became QDCs/QSCs by 30 September 2019. Contractors have one month after the date the contract becomes a QDC/QSC to submit reports, and as of 31 October 2019 the SSRO had received contract reports for 235 contracts that became QDCs/QSCs between 1 April 2015 and 30 September 2019, which the analysis is based on. This comprised 197 QDCs and 38 QSCs.
In the first six months of 2019/20, the SSRO has received contract reports for 27 new QDCs/QSCs, with an estimated total contract price of £6,381 million. The estimated total contract price of all 235 QDCs/QSCs was £37.0 billion. The average reported estimated contract profit rate across all QDCs/QSCs was 9.54 per cent.
All data is based on the latest submitted report for each QDC/QSC, to reflect the most recently reported contract data, and may not reflect values at contract completion.
