This publication is about the reforms to teacher development being introduced by the Department for Education (DfE). It provides information on each of these reforms and how they will be delivered.

  1. Updated the Initial teacher training section as the ITT review is completed and the government have responded. Updated the national professional qualifications section and Annex A with information about fully funded scholarships and 2 new qualifications: Early Years Leadership and Leading Literacy. Amended to make clear which parts relate to ECF and NPQs and where it applies to ITT.
