Explains how the regional growth fund (RGF) is helping Zytek Automotive, a Staffordshire-based engineering enterprise which specializes in the design, development and supply of components for hybrid and electric vehicles. Zytek received £1.3 million for an innovative research and development project, which led to the introduction of some new and exciting products into a competitive market and the creation of 40 new jobs. Zytek is also working closely with a number of universities to ensure around a third of their new employees will be recent graduates.
