Details

The UK is a global leader in research and development (R&D) with science, research and innovation key to our prosperity, our health and wellbeing. People are at the heart of R&D and it is vital that we attract, develop, and retain enough people within the research and innovation system to build on our existing strengths and to meet future challenges.

This strategy sets out how we will develop the research workforce we need, ensuring that careers in research and innovation are open to people from all backgrounds, working within environments that nurture and get the best out of them.
