Details
The case studies include projects that improve the water environment, for example by:
- enhancing and restoring rivers and floodplains
- creating sustainable drainage
- cleaning up metal pollution
- improving habitats and water quality by addressing diffuse pollution issues
- adapting weirs to provide fish passage
- involving the community
- using existing regulations to tackle agricultural and rural land pollution, such as lagoon construction
