Details

This document sets out rules about the re-sit opportunities exam boards must provide after the last scheduled sitting of legacy AS and A levels. It sets out separately the rules for:

  • Subjects where the last scheduled sitting will take place in summer 2016
  • Subjects where the last scheduled sitting will take place in summer 2017
  • Subjects where the last scheduled sitting will take place in summer 2018 or summer 2019

This document was originally published in June 2016, and revised in August 2016. The August 2016 version introduces new provisions (paragraphs 7, 14 and 21) which allow for late awards.
