Details

Progress document brings together summaries from government departments detailing progress to date on the review of powers of entry. The review is coordinated by the Home Office, which is responsible for approximately 90 powers, extending across a wide range of responsibilities such as policing, public order, border policy, drugs and terrorism.

Other departments include the Department for Environment, Food and Rurual Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Department for Culture, Media and Sport, HM Treasury, Department for Communities and Local Government, Department for Transport, Department for Education, Department for Work and Pensions, Department for Emergy and Climate Change, Ministry of Defence, and Department of Health, HM Revenue and Customs and the Food Standards Agency.
