The Spelthorne Borough Council Best Value inspectors submitted their Best Value Inspection report on 31 January 2025. The report notes that although the Council have already taken some steps to make improvements, Inspectors note serious concerns across a number of areas. Ministers consider these concerns amount to failings by the Council of its Best Value Duty under Part 1 of the Local Government Act 1999.
