The Social Security Advisory Committee is a statutory independent non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions.
The information you have requested is held by the Committee.
Minutes of the Committee’s meetings are published on its website. As this information is already reasonably accessible in the public domain, Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act applies.
In terms of the other information you have requested, I can confirm that the Committee met on 4 November, and that minutes will be published in due course. However, as this information is intended for publication at a future date, Section 22 of the Freedom of Information Act exempts this information from disclosure.
