Details

The State of the Estate in 2017 to 2018 report describes the size and cost, efficiency of use and sustainability of property for central government buildings. It assesses performance over the financial year 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018.

The civil estate includes all central government property, except for the:

  • Defence military estate
  • Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service custodial estate
  • NHS estate
  • Defra rural estate
  • Foreign & Commonwealth Office overseas estate
  • Home Office overseas estate
