Details

The Aviation Plan aims to identify, develop and enable the implementation of mitigation measures to reduce the impacts of wind turbines on radar and aviation to acceptable levels, whilst taking all necessary steps to protect the safety of civilian and military air operations.

It encourages a constructive dialogue between the wind and aviation industries and ensures that the development of strategic approaches are explored and progressed. The updated plan recognises recent achievements and seeks to identify and address the challenges still to be overcome.
