The government’s long term digital communications infrastructure strategy contains commitments to remove barriers to market investment and reduce legislative and regulatory red tape, framed around meeting the government’s new headline ambition for the UK’s broadband infrastructure: that ultrafast broadband of at least 100 megabits per second should be available to nearly all UK premises.
