Details

The Official Controls (Plant Protection Products) Regulations 2020 allow regulatory authorities to take a proactive approach to enforcing existing pesticides regulations.

Operators throughout the plant protection product (PPP) supply chain will be required to notify competent authorities of their details and business activities. A risk-based programme of official controls will be developed to ensure businesses comply with requirements for the placing on the market and use of PPPs.
